SAMPLE PARENT–ATHLETE AGREEMENT

A simple example for a younger athlete. Use it as a starting point — not a template you have to copy.

Be respectful and honest with family

ATHLETIC COMMITMENTS

Give strong effort in practices, games, and training

Maintain a strong attitude after mistakes

Reset after mistakes and go again

Complete agreed home exercises

Take care of sports equipment

PARENT COMMITMENTS

Parent / Guardian agrees to:

I will get you where you need to be

I will recognize effort separately from performance

I will keep my emotions under control after games

I will follow through on earned privileges
